PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A lineup change is coming to Track 15, where two new food concepts will take over spaces being vacated by current vendors.

The Providence food hall announced that Yagi Noodles and Grumpy Pies will move in following the departure of Giusto PVD and Mother Pizzeria PVD.

Giusto and Mother Pizzeria shifting focus

Both restaurants are stepping away from Track 15 to focus on their operations in Newport.

Mother Pizzeria will close its location at the food hall on March 29.

Giusto PVD is expected to shut down later in April, though a final date has not been announced.

New concepts preparing to open

Grumpy Pies will replace Mother Pizzeria’s space.

Chef Ian Cappelano will lead the concept, which will serve pizza by the slice, half pies or full pies.

Yagi Noodles will take over the Giusto space and is planning a late April opening.

Yagi Noodles expands footprint

This will be the second location for Yagi Noodles, which is based in Newport.

The restaurant is co-owned by Chef Basil Yu and Kodi Keith and focuses on handmade noodle dishes.

Yu was named a semifinalist for the 2024 James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Northeast.
