WARWICK, R.I. — Breeze Airways has announced it will launch nonstop seasonal service from T.F. Green International Airport to Cancun, Mexico, beginning Feb. 14, 2026, pending government approval.

Seasonal flights from Cancun to Charleston, South Carolina, and New Orleans, Louisiana to Norfolk, Virginia.

The airline is further expanding its international routes with seasonal flights to Montego Bay, Jamaica, from Tampa, Florida and Raleigh, North Carolina. Further seasonal service will be offered between Raleigh and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

This marks another major step in expanding the airport’s international flight offerings. In May, BermudAir launched nonstop service between T.F. Green (PVD) and Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport (BDA), operating year-round on Thursdays and Sundays.

In July, Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport was named the best airport in America by Travel + Leisure readers, the first time the Warwick hub has received the honor.

Recognized for its convenience and stress-free travel experience, T.F. Green outperformed much larger airports in the rankings. Travelers praised its easy access, straightforward layout, ample parking, and quick-moving security lines. The airport’s compact design, which allows passengers to move smoothly from check-in to boarding, was also highlighted. One reader even said it was “worth the drive” to avoid the congestion of bigger airports.
