The Glocester Goat! The Glocester Police Department has issued the following statement of a rogue goat about town:

“For the past several weeks, you may have noticed a goat has been on the loose around town. This week, he took things to the next level and became an active suspect in a breaking & entering in a home off Cooper Rd.

Officers arrived and caught him red-hooved inside the home, but the suspect was faster than us and made his getaway out the back door and back into the woods.

He remains at large and now has an active warrant with our department.

If you spot this four-legged fugitive, don’t approach-just give us a call.”

During their search for the goat, officers encountered another animal on the loose, this time, a donkey taking an afternoon stroll down Chopmist Hill Road. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the donkey to call them at (401) 568-2533.
