“naked fat tests” trial

NORTH KINGSTOWN, R.I. — Closing arguments in the “naked fat test” trial of Aaron Thomas are set to begin on Monday.

Thomas, a former coach at North Kingstown High School, is charged with second-degree child molestation and second-degree sexual assault.

The charges stem from his “fat testing” program, during which students allege they were often nude while Thomas touched their upper inner thighs near the groin area.

On Monday, the judge will instruct the jury on the legal standards for both charges before they begin deliberations.
