Meet our Dog of the Week, Homer!
Homer is a 4 year old, male, Labrador Retriever mixed breed. This guy has a large, huggable frame and the softest ears you could ever hope to pet. He is sweet, affectionate, and clearly used to being someone’s beloved companion.
His previous owner was deployed overseas and Homer suddenly found himself needing a new place to land. He has taken the change with quiet grace, greeting new people kindly and leaning into every bit of affection offered to him. Those incredibly soft ears tend to win everyone over first, and his amazing personality keeps them coming back for more. Homer is ready for a family who will welcome him as their own and give him the stability and love he’s already so good at giving in return. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
The Heart of RI has adoption hours every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm at 44 Worthington Road, Cranston. You can view all of their policies, procedures, fees and other adoptable animals at HeartofRl.org. @heartofri
