PROVIDENCE, R.I. — After 13 years in business, Rosalina, a popular Italian restaurant in downtown Providence, will close its doors for good this weekend.

The Aborn Street restaurant, known for its classic Italian cuisine and house-made pasta, is scheduled to serve its final guests on Sunday.

Co-owner Tom Bovis, who operates the restaurant alongside his wife, Lauren Lynch, announced the closure in a social media post earlier this month, calling the decision extremely difficult.

Bovis cited ongoing challenges in sustaining the business in the years since the COVID-19 pandemic and thanked both customers and staff for their continued support. He also praised his wife for building what he described as one of the best Italian restaurants in Rhode Island.

The closure comes just months after neighboring restaurant Durk’s BBQ closed its doors at the end of November 2025.
