PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Three men are facing robbery and conspiracy charges following an armed robbery outside a strip club on Allens Avenue early Sunday morning, according to police.

The Providence Police Department responded to outside Wonderland Gentlemen’s Club, located at 257 Allens Avenue, around 2:00 a.m. after two victims reported being robbed while sitting inside a parked vehicle. Police say two men approached the car, displayed firearms, and demanded personal property. A third suspect, who was unarmed, was also involved.

After taking multiple items from the victims, the suspects fled the scene in a black Jeep Cherokee with Rhode Island plates.

A short time later, the vehicle was spotted on Interstate 95 by the Rhode Island State Police, prompting a pursuit southbound. The chase ended in West Greenwich after local officers deployed spike strips, disabling the vehicle. All three suspects were taken into custody without further incident by West Greenwich Police Department.

Police identified the suspects as 38-year-old Victor Encarnacion, 31-year-old Bulaon Hawkins, and 35-year-old Roberto Cales. Each is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of conspiracy.

Authorities say the stolen property was recovered from inside the vehicle, and a firearm believed to be connected to the robbery was later found along Interstate 95 south. The investigation remains ongoing.
