PROVIDENCE, R.I. — After 24 incredible years of creating sweet memories for customers, Sin Desserts has announced that it will be permanently closing its doors on Saturday, October 31.
The Providence bakery posted the closure on its Instagram page.
Sin Desserts will accept new orders through October 15. Customers who already have orders booked do not need to do anything.
The business is also working through its remaining inventory. Because of that, some flavors, colors and items may run out before the closing date.
Sin Desserts will remain open every Saturday through October 31. The bakery plans to hold weekly Saturday sales and sell its remaining inventory. That will include treats such as ginger snaps and Yodels.
The bakery will also sell baking equipment and other items from the shop. Customers may find cake stands, decorating tools, display cases, coffee machines, tables and chairs.
Customers with unused Sin Desserts gift cards can still use them. Gift cards can be applied to custom orders, Saturday case treats, Yodels and bakery equipment for sale.
The bakery also said it will share updates about local bakery recommendations and future plans for the space.
In its farewell message, Sin Desserts thanked customers for 24 years of support. The bakery said one of the best parts of its journey was bringing customers’ creative cake ideas to life.
