T.F. Green International Airport officially launched nonstop service to Bermuda on Thursday, courtesy of BermudAir. The new route will operate twice a week, with flights departing every Thursday and Sunday.

The direct flight takes about two hours, offering a convenient link between Rhode Island and the popular island destination.

Airport officials say the new service is expected to boost both leisure travel and economic ties between the Ocean State and Bermuda.

BermudAir, a relatively new player in the regional travel market, is continuing to expand its Northeast presence with this latest addition to its network.
