Providence police arrest man accused of shooting his brother

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Providence Police have arrested a man accused of shooting his brother during a domestic incident on East Drive.

Officers responded to the area on Friday, May 3, where they found a 29-year-old man with a gunshot wound. The victim was later identified as the brother of the suspect, 24-year-old Eliezer Colon.

Colon has been charged with domestic felony assault and a firearms offense.

As of the latest reports on Sunday afternoon, the victim was in stable condition. The incident remains under investigation.
