Benjamin’s days are filled with energy and joy. He loves playing outdoors with his sister, running, and splashing in water. He’s especially fascinated by nature, from watching tree leaves move in the wind to following his own shadow on the ground. Ice cream is a favorite treat, but family members say he’s happy eating just about anything. Cars and toys that spark instant action are also among his favorites.

His friendly nature shines wherever he goes. Benjamin loves giving hugs and kisses, playing with other children, and sharing moments of laughter with family and friends.

For his family, winning the $25,000 prize that comes with the Toddler of the Year title would be life-changing. The money would help fund Benjamin’s speech, physical, and occupational therapies which are vital steps to support his independence as he grows. It would also allow the family to secure a safe and supportive home environment for his future.

The Toddler of the Year Award is giving children across the country a chance to be recognized in a unique national competition, all while raising money for a meaningful cause.

Hosted by actor and television personality Mario Lopez, the contest highlights toddlers and their families while offering a major prize. The winner receives $25,000, a feature in a national ad campaign, the chance to lead the Hollywood Christmas Parade, and a trip to a Peppa Pig theme park.

But beyond the spotlight, the event carries a powerful mission. The competition is organized by Colossal on behalf of DTCare, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds raised through donations made during the voting process are granted to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, a program that delivers toys to children in need during the holiday season.
