RI State Rep Calls for Anti-ICE Protest Inspired by LA Demonstrations
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Rhode Island State Rep. Enrique Sanchez (D-Providence) is calling for a massive anti-ICE protest right here in the Ocean State — saying it’s time for Rhode Islanders to take action like protesters in Los Angeles.
In a post shared Sunday, Sanchez wrote:
“I think it’s time to organize a massive anti-ICE protest here in Rhode Island like the one in LA.”
His call comes as tensions in LA continue to escalate. Over the weekend, protests erupted following federal immigration raids. Demonstrators clashed with agents in riot gear, and videos showed tear gas, flash-bangs, and mass detentions across parts of the city.
Sanchez, elected in 2022, has been vocal against ICE operations and immigration enforcement policies. While no official protest has been announced in Rhode Island yet, immigrant rights groups may soon begin organizing.

So he’s probably one that blames Trump for the DC riot after they stole the election. Maybe we should try him in court for siting a RIOT.
