UPDATE: Arrest Made in Deadly Pawtucket Shooting

Pawtucket police have arrested a suspect in connection with Monday’s fatal shooting that left one man dead and a woman injured.

Eric Peterson, 37, was taken into custody and is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder. The shooting happened at 54 Arch Street—Peterson’s listed address.

In total, Peterson is charged with:

– First-degree murder

– Three counts of using a firearm while committing a crime of violence

– Two counts of felony assault

– Possession of a firearm by a prohibited person

– Carrying a pistol without a license

Police have not released further details about what led to the gunfire. The investigation is ongoing.

This marks the second deadly shooting in Pawtucket in less than a week. 😮
