Meet our Dog of the Week, Josie!
Josie is an extraordinary little survivor looking for her forever home. Josie is an 8 year old, female, Beagle/Pug mix with a calm, gentle presence. She’s VERY ready to begin her next chapter. Josie’s past has been incredibly hard. She came from a rough situation in the South and narrowly escaped euthanasia at a high kill shelter. We rescued her just hours before her time ran out. Even after all she’s endured, she remains remarkably sweet and affectionate.
She gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love to have a friendly canine companion. Josie is looking for a quiet home where she can truly exhale, settle in, and rediscover what it feels like to be safe. She is up to date on vaccinations and has been spayed. Consider giving this sweet girl a chance. We promise you won’t regret it.
The Heart of RI has adoption hours every Wednesday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday 10.am. – 2 .p.m. at 44 Worthington Road, Cranston. You can view all of their policies, procedures, fees and other adoptable animals at HeartofRl.org.
NOTE: What’s going on in Rhode Island is not responsible for Josie and we do not have further information on him. Please contact Heart of RI directly for all questions.
Every Saturday, we post a Dog of the Week or Dogs of the Week to help them find a forever home. Be sure to check back regularly to find your new best friend.
