Meet our Dog of the Week, Parker!
Parker is a Hound mix with a heart of gold, a voice that carries, and a dream of being someone’s one and only. He is one of the longest residents the rescue has had.

Parker was born in December of 2018 and is looking for a home without other pets or kids – just calm, committed adopters who see the beauty in a dog who may take a little time to settle, but who will reward your effort with long lasting, loyal love.
Parker needs someone who will give him structure, patience, and a bit of space to bloom into his best self. He is very smart, walks well on a leash, and does well in the car. An added bonus: you’ll never need a doorbell again. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. This poor guy just needs a chance.
Heart of RI has adoption hours every Wednesday from 3 p.m. – 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 44 Worthington Road, Cranston, Rhode Island. You can view all of their policies, procedures, fees and other adoptable animals at HeartofRI.org.
NOTE: What’s going on in Rhode Island is not responsible for Parker and we do not have further information on him. Please contact Heart of RI directly for all questions.
Every Saturday we post a Dog of the Week, or Dogs of the Week to find a forever home/homes, so please keep checking back in to find yourself a new best friend.
