PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Funeral arrangements have been announced for Frank Caprio, the longtime Providence Municipal Court judge who passed away last week at the age of 88.

A public visitation and remembrance will take place on Thursday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center, Hall A, in Providence. Complimentary parking will be available in the North Garage for attendees.

A funeral Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Richard Henning of Boston, will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at the Cathedral of Saints Peter and Paul in Providence. The burial will be private.

To honor Caprio, flags have been flown at half-staff at all state agencies and buildings and will remain so until the day of his interment.
