Gun and drugs seized in Lincoln traffic stop

LINCOLN, R.I. — A routine traffic stop in Lincoln this week led to a major bust, with a gun and drugs seized by police.

According to authorities, officers pulled over a car for speeding near Route 146 in the Limerock area. During the stop, police identified the driver and passenger as Evan Tucker, 30, of Providence, and Sabrina Biscoglio, 31, of Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Police said a search of the vehicle uncovered a 9mm pistol, 190 grams of methamphetamine, 9 grams of ketamine, 8 grams of cocaine, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale, and a large amount of cash.

Both suspects were arrested and charged with multiple drug offenses, conspiracy, and possession of a firearm while committing a controlled substance violation. Tucker was also charged with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, resisting arrest, and obstructing police.

The case remains under investigation.
