Meet our dog of the week, Rigby!
Sometimes love means making the hardest choice. Rigby’s mom is very, very sick. She is currently paying thousands of dollars to keep Rigby in boarding to avoid having to relinquish him to a shelter. Thousands she does not have. After exhausting every option and with the guidance of her medical team, she has made the devastating decision to put Rigby up for adoption. This choice was not made lightly and it was made because she loves him so much. His mom’s greatest comfort would be knowing he is safe, loved, and supported for the rest of their lives. You could be that person who turns heartbreak into hope. Rigby is a 6 year old, male, Beagle mix, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He likes other dogs and is a very good boy.
The Heart of RI has adoption hours every Wednesday 3-7 p.m. and Saturday 10.am. – 2 .p.m. at 44 Worthington Road, Cranston. You can view all of their policies, procedures, fees and other adoptable animals at HeartofRl.org.
Apply by e-mailing KFabiano@heartofRI.org or messaging HeartofRI.
NOTE: What’s going on in Rhode Island is not responsible for Rigby and we do not have further information on him. Please contact Heart of RI directly for all questions.
Every Saturday we post Dogs of the Week, or a Dog of the Week to help them find a forever home, so please keep checking back in to find yourself a new best friend.
