PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Providence police are asking for the public’s help as their investigation into the deadly Brown University shooting continues.
On Wednesday, investigators released images of an individual they are trying to identify. Police say the person was seen near the person of interest connected to the shooting and may have information that could help advance the case. Authorities emphasized that the individual is not identified as a suspect, but someone detectives want to speak with as part of the ongoing investigation.
The images were shared publicly in hopes that someone may recognize the individual or have additional information about their identity or whereabouts.
