Meet our Dog of the Week, Darwin!

Darwin is ready to leave his past behind and start the life he’s always deserved. He is a handsome, 4-year-old, male, Labrador Retriever mixed breed. This poor guy was found chained up in a backyard when his previous owners moved without him. Despite everything he has endured, he hasn’t lost his loving, easygoing spirit. He is the perfect medium sized companion with a great balance of playful energy and calm affection. He walks nicely on leash and is always up for an adventure, especially if it means getting out to explore the world with his people.

Darwin truly shines when he’s around other dogs. He’s a fantastic playmate, especially for energetic pups, and absolutely loves stretching his legs for zoomie session. Once he’s gotten his playtime in, he’s more than happy to settle down for a cozy nap on his bed or cuddled up next to you. He also does well with cats. Darwin didn’t deserve the start he had but we’re determined to make sure his future is filled with stability, love, and a family who will never let him go. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
