Meet our Dog of the Week, Miss Evie Bean!
Before you keep scrolling, please take a minute to read Miss Evie Bean’s story and help us share her with the world.
Her old owners couldn’t even be bothered to bring her to the door. Instead, they left her across the street from a shelter in the south in a small kennel, during a rain storm. No note, no apology, no goodbye. A couple days passed before anyone even realized she was there. While the world moved around her, she sat quietly, hoping someone would finally notice her and we jumped at the chance.
Miss Evie Bean is a 1.5 year old, 50lb, mixed breed, up to date on vaccinations, and has been spayed. This low riding little sweetheart absolutely adores people, lives for attention, and gets along with other calm dogs. She’s the kind of pup that doesn’t ask for much, just a soft place to land and someone who will finally choose her on purpose.
We think she’s been patient long enough and we promised her that her people are coming soon. Come meet Miss Evie Bean and you’ll quickly understand why every single one of us has fallen completely in love with her.
