Dune Brothers Expands from Seasonal Clam Shack to Year-Round Seafood Staple in Providence

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — What began as a seasonal clam shack on Dyer Street has evolved into a growing seafood operation with multiple locations across Rhode Island.

Dune Brothers, known for its commitment to fresh, locally sourced seafood, now operates two year-round spots in Providence: one at 170 Ives Street on the East Side and another inside the newly opened Track 15 Food Hall at 1 Union Station downtown.

In addition to the year-round locations, the original clam shack at 239 Dyer Street remains open seasonally, offering outdoor seating and a laid-back waterfront vibe. The business also runs another seasonal shack at 684 Bullocks Point Avenue in the Riverside section of East Providence.

The expansion highlights the growing popularity of Dune Brothers and the demand for authentic Rhode Island seafood, served in a casual, accessible setting. From clam cakes and chowder to locally caught fish sandwiches, the menu stays true to classic New England flavors while embracing a sustainable, boat-to-table approach.

With warmer weather approaching, both seasonal shacks are expected to draw crowds once again, while the Ives Street and Track 15 locations continue to serve customers all year long.
