Fire at Bradley Cafe in Providence Friday morning

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Fire crews responded to a fire at Bradley’s Cafe early Friday morning.

Emergency responders were called to the cafe located at 571 Admiral Street in Providence after reports of a fire inside the building. Firefighters worked to bring the flames under control.

Officials have not yet released details about how the fire started or the extent of the damage.

It was not immediately clear if anyone was inside the building when the fire began. No injuries have been confirmed.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire. More information will be released as it becomes available.

Bradley Cafe, referred to as “Brad’s” by regulars, is a longtime neighborhood bar on Admiral Street in Providence, Rhode Island. The bar first opened in 1937 and quickly became a popular gathering place in the city. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and horseshoe-shaped bar, Bradley Cafe has served generations of customers over the decades. Its location near Providence College has made it a favorite spot for students, alumni, and neighborhood regulars.
