Man shot at Federal Hill restaurant

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Police are investigating after a man was shot inside a seafood restaurant in Federal Hill.

Officers responded to Capri Seafood in De Pasquale Square Thursday night following reports of gunfire on the patio of the business. 

Authorities said a 34-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive. No other injuries were reported.

Police have not yet shared details about what led up to the shooting and the incident remains under investigation.

No suspect has been caught.
