CRANSTON, R.I. — U.S. Rep. Seth Magaziner is hosting a watch party Thursday night for the premiere of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, even as the Department of Homeland Security remains shut down.

Magaziner promoted the event on X (formerly known as Twitter) with the message, “Bring a friend, bring the drama.”

The watch party is scheduled for Thursday, April 2, at 8 p.m. at The Eliotte on Park in Cranston.

The event will be co-hosted by state Rep. Jackie Baginski and state Sen. Hanna Gallo.

Organizers say attendees can expect specialty cocktails and door prizes tied to the show’s debut.
