NEW SHOREHAM, R.I. — A small plane crashed near the Block Island State Airport early this afternoon.
All three passengers were transported to Block Island Medical Center.
Emergency crews responded quickly to the crash site, located just off airport grounds. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
