PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The State of Rhode Island has launched a one-time payroll correction program to address potential missing or incorrect wages following the rollout of its new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.

Some employees have received underpaid or missing paychecks since the system went live during the week of December 5, 2025. The ERP team has already notified affected workers and is taking steps to ensure all employees are made whole.

Starting February 10, 2026, the State is offering an online attestation form where employees can report estimated unpaid wages or hours for specific pay periods. This program only applies to unpaid wages and does not include benefits, retirement contributions, or health insurance deductions.

The initiative covers all pay periods processed through the ERP system from December 5, 2025, through February 27, 2026. Submitted forms will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and verified payments will be issued promptly via check or direct deposit. Employees will receive email updates detailing payment timing and method.

State officials emphasized that ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation remains a top priority as the ERP system continues to be stabilized.
