Rhode Island no longer in play as Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly pick NY wedding

WESTERLY, R.I. — According to sources, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly sent out save-the-date notices confirming a July 3 wedding in New York City, replacing earlier speculation that the couple would marry in the Watch Hill area of Westerly, Rhode Island. The report says the pair shifted away from the rumored Ocean House ceremony in Watch Hill after deciding on a larger venue that could accommodate a bigger guest list.

Insiders say that New York carries deep personal significance for Taylor Swift, who owns several properties in Tribeca and has long embraced the city as part of her public identity, including through her song “Welcome to New York.” The July 3 timing also places the wedding during Fourth of July weekend, a holiday Swift is said to especially love.

Earlier Rhode Island rumors centered on Swift’s Watch Hill estate, Ocean House, and a June 13 date, but those claims unraveled after wedding planner Tara Guérard publicly denied that Swift was the bride tied to that Ocean House booking.

Neither Swift nor Travis Kelce has publicly confirmed the wedding details, so the reported date and location remain unverified by the couple themselves.
