Three arrested for robbery at Bally’s Casino

LINCOLN, R.I. — Lincoln Police say three suspects are in custody after a targeted robbery at Bally’s Hotel Casino early Monday morning.

Police say officers were called to the casino around 1:45 a.m. on December 29 after a robbery was reported. Investigators determined that two female suspects allegedly approached a male victim on the casino floor and convinced him to go with them to a hotel room.

Once inside the room, police say a third suspect confronted the victim, threatened him with a knife, and robbed him of more than $1,500 in cash. The victim was then allowed to leave and allegedly told not to contact police.

Following a swift investigation, Lincoln Police located and arrested all three suspects.

Those arrested include Dominyck S. Sims, 28, of Worcester, Naushka A. Machuca, 19, of Marlborough, and Tashawna Tuckta-Warner, 19, of Boston.

Lincoln Police are reminding the public to remain vigilant and exercise caution when interacting with unfamiliar individuals. The investigation remains ongoing.
