Meet our Dog of the Week, Gloria!
Gloria was adopted as a young puppy and then ended up back at the rescue and not because of anything she did. Simply because her adopters weren’t really up to having a puppy after all. She spent her 1st birthday in a cage and it absolutely broke our heart. That was months ago and she is still waiting.
Gloria is a breathtaking medium sized, mixed breed looking for a safe place to lay her head and a family to love her forever. She has the most gorgeous smile, loves to play, is up to date on vaccinations, and has been spayed.
Shelter life has made her a little nervous at times but once she feels safe her sweet personality shines. This pup absolutely loves other dogs and really comes out of her shell anytime she is around another dog. She would definitely do best in a home with dogs where she can continue building confidence by following the lead of a calm, friendly canine companion or pack.
Gloria is still young and would thrive in a family that can provide structure, consistency, gentle guidance, and patience. Shes the kind of dog who just needs a little reassurance before giving you her whole heart but we promise shes worth it! They always are.
