A Heat Advisory has been issued for Southern New England from 11 a.m Tuesday through 7 p.m. Thursday.

What to Expect:

    •    High temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s through Thursday

    •    Real feel (heat index) values may climb to 100°F or higher

Impact:

Heat and humidity can increase the risk of heat-related illness, especially for vulnerable populations and those without air conditioning.

Take Precautions:

    •    Stay hydrated

    •    Limit outdoor activity

    •    Check on the elderly and pets

    •    Use air conditioning or find a cooling center
