LAS VEGAS, N.V. — Longtime Jersey Shore star and Rhode Island native DJ Pauly D got engaged to his girlfriend, Nikki Hall, during his DJ set at OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas over the weekend.
Paul “DJ Pauly D” Del Vecchio, 46, who was born in Providence and grew up in Johnston, brought Hall, 34, onstage for the big moment. As “All I Do Is Win” played, the music transitioned to Bruno Mars’ “Marry You.” Pauly took her hand, got down on one knee and pulled out the ring as the crowd watched. Nikki said yes, the two embraced, and Pauly shared the news with the crowd.
The couple first met while filming MTV’s Double Shot at Love in 2019 and have been together for about six years.
Pauly D became a household name as one of the original cast members of MTV’s Jersey Shore, which premiered in December 2009. The original series ran for six seasons through 2012, following Pauly and his castmates in Seaside Heights, New Jersey, along with seasons filmed in Miami and Italy.
Long before Jersey Shore brought him national fame, Pauly D was building his career as a DJ right here in Rhode Island. The Johnston High School graduate performed at clubs throughout the area before taking his career from the Ocean State to stages around the world.
Congratulations to Rhode Island’s Pauly D and Nikki Hall on their engagement!
