Hundreds pay tribute to the victims of the Brown University shooting by dropping off flowers at the school’s iconic Van Wickle Gates, creating a quiet and emotional memorial at the main entrance to campus.

The flowers honor the memory of Ella Cook and Mukhammad Aziz Umurzokov, the two Brown University students who lost their lives Saturday when a person opened fire inside a lecture hall on Brown’s campus, and also pay tribute to the other students who were injured in the attack.

Bouquets, handwritten notes, and tributes now line the gates at Prospect Street and College Street, as students and community members continue to stop by individually to pay their respects.
