PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Bevi Bar, a new Italian-inspired cocktail bar, is coming to downtown Providence this summer. The concept will bring a design-focused experience to the city’s nightlife scene.

The bar, created by Alessandra Pallozzi and her brother Lucio Andreozzi, will take over the former Tiny Bar space at 377 Richmond Street.

The concept is centered on an intimate aperitivo-style experience inspired by their childhood summers in Italy. As a result, the goal is to create a space where guests can slow down, enjoy quality drinks, and be present. Aperitivo culture focuses on early evening drinks and conversation, and it is not widely represented in Providence.

The idea is also rooted in family tradition. Their father, Lucio Sr., immigrated to the United States from Italy, helping shape the brand’s identity.

In 2022, the siblings launched Bevi e Vivi, a luxury mobile beverage bar. They started with a restored 1991 Piaggio Ape, a small three-wheeled Italian vehicle converted into a tap truck for weddings and events. Today, the mobile bar features five draft taps and can serve gatherings with up to 500 guests. It has also appeared at high-profile events, including Olivia Culpo’s wedding in Westerly and her baby shower in Newport.

Alessandra brings more than 15 years of experience in hospitality. Meanwhile, Lucio is a celebrity photographer known for his strong sense of storytelling and visual design. Together, they aim to create a space that feels both curated and immersive.

Lucio said the design will incorporate Italian elements not seen in Rhode Island. Because of this, the goal is to create a space that feels like an old-world building with a modern touch.

Overall, the vision is simple. The team wants to create a bar that encourages earlier evenings, meaningful conversation, and a more intentional experience.

Bevi Bar is expected to open later this summer.
