PROVIDENCE, R.I. — A Federal Hill restaurant has been allowed to reopen after a shooting left a man injured on its outdoor patio.
Police said a 34-year-old man was shot in the abdomen at a seafood restaurant in De Pasquale Square. The shooting happened on the outdoor patio, and the victim was taken to the hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
Officials said no other injuries were reported, and a suspect has turned himself in.
Restaurant allowed to reopen
City officials said the restaurant has been allowed to reopen following a review of the incident.
Authorities have not announced any additional restrictions but said the investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
