Police searching for suspect in Federal Hill restaurant shooting

PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Police are searching for the suspect who shot a man at a Federal Hill restaurant sending him ton the hospital.

Thursday night officers responded to Capri Seafood in De Pasquale Square following reports of gunfire on the patio of the business.

The 34-year-old victim was found in the restaurant’s outdoor patio with a gunshot wound to the abdomen.

The victim was brought to Rhode Island Hospital in critical condition, but is expected to survive.

The shooter who was last seen running down Spruce Street toward Acorn Street, was described by witnesses as being a Black man with dreadlocks and a goatee, wearing a North Face jacket with the word “Supreme” on it.
