CRANSTON, R.I. — This year’s 121st Annual St. Mary’s Feast in Cranston led to 14 arrests over the course of the multi-day celebration.

Cranston Police Major Todd Patalano said a fight close to the feast ended with 10 arrested.

Police arrested 10 people in connection with the incident. Many of those taken into custody were teenagers, according to investigators.

The five-day festival began on Wednesday, July 15, and concluded Sunday. During the event, Cranston police made a total of 14 arrests.

Despite the arrests, St. Mary’s Feast Society President Carmine Vita said the celebration remained safe despite the incidents.

The investigation remains active, and police said they expect to make additional arrests as they identify other people involved in the disturbance.
