NEWPORT, R.I. — Castle Hill Inn outlined its phased reopening plans in a social media post, announcing that overnight guests would return on March 5 through the property’s Beach Houses and Beach Cottages as recovery efforts continued following the hotel’s February fire.
The hotel said the Chalet will temporarily serve as the center of operations for guests during the initial reopening phase. Amenities available include a gourmet breakfast buffet, afternoon tea, evening cocktails and light bites, room service and private transportation to downtown Newport restaurants.
Castle Hill also said guests will have access to The Retreat at Castle Hill by Farmaesthetics, which has been temporarily relocated to the upper level of the Chalet during restoration work.
The hotel noted that day visitors would not yet be able to return for drinks or dining and said it hoped to welcome broader access to the property later in the spring. Castle Hill also announced that its traditional Easter celebrations would not take place this year, though it planned to host a Mother’s Day event at The Bohlin in Newport.
